Mildred A.  Lofgren, 91, of Lambertville, MI, died Thursday, August 10, 2017, at Ebeid Hospice Residence.  Born April 22, 1926, in North Baltimore, OH, she was the daughter of Lewis. and Bernice. (Harger) Sweebe. A 1944 graduate of the former DeVilbiss High School, she married Lyle L. Lofgren on February 25, 1945. He preceded her in death on June 6, 1992. Mildred retired in 1986 from The Toledo Hospital as a Unit Clerk with the Medical ICU. She was a member of the Hampton Park Christian Church and enjoyed bowling, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Mildred is survived by her loving children, Jack (Betsy) Lofgren, Pat Lofgren, Gary (Kit) Lofgren and Debra (John, Jr.) Monnette;  grandchildren, Heather (Ron) Morehouse, Jack (Lorene) Lofgren II, Jenna Lofgren, Jared Lofgren, John (Jessie) Monnette, III, Shannon (Manuel) Melendez  and Angelina Monnette; great grandchildren, Stacy Hutchinson, Summer, Carmen and Daniel Melendez.  She was preceded in death by her brother, Wayne Sweebe; infant sister, Katherine Sweebe; sister, Betty Burton and grandson, Jamie Lofgren.

Visitation will be from 3-8 pm Tuesday, August 15, 2017, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at 1:30  pm.  Interment will follow at Whiteford Union Cemetery, Whiteford, MI. Memorial contributions may be made to the Northwest Ohio Kidney Foundation or Hampton Park Christian Church.   The family wishes to thank to the staff of U.S. Renal Care (Alexis Dialysis Center), Promedica Surgical Intensive Care Unit, and Dr. Colturi, Dr. Fayed and W.W.
